Please check these common reasons why users can't sign in

Registration is a separate process from completing a Change of Address, Direct Debit, Paperless Billing or other form. Our portal is used for Council Tax, Business Rates, Housing Benefit and for Landlords receiving this, so a user must register and link their account(s).
We may have your email address on your account, but that doesn't mean you are registered on the portal.

If you are not getting a reset password email, and are certain you are using the correct username and answering the security question exactly, your online profile may be locked. Please contact us if so.
If the email used on the portal is no longer accessible and you can't sign in you will need to re-register with a new email.

You can change your portal email address (and, optionally, your username to match) when you are signed in.
Please advise us if you do this, especially if you have paperless billing, so we can update the account email.
